Hey i´m looking for the Belt with the Pouches. Is there a link or something where i can get this? it is the one thing that is missing for my Partisan

Hey i´m looking for the Belt with the Pouches. Is there a link or something where i can get this? it is the one thing that is missing for my Partisan

I had the belt and pouches custom made by someone near Golden, CO. I don’t think I’ve seen these available anywhere else as a ‘standard’ costume product. I’m hesitant to post publicly on the details as I’m not sure the person wants to be swamped with requests but if you are interested in contacting them for the commission PM me and I’ll give you the contact details.

Sorry to resserect this thread but i was thinking of doing this costume and while searching i found this thread....fantastic job! I guess i may join the RL! LOL! thanks for this detailed thread, it will help me greatly!

Excellent - will watch to see your progress on the build. Please do post and share your progress. Good luck with it and enjoy the heck out of the process!

I figured I would add on to Dan's post here. I found some helpful templates for anyone looking to build their own leather bandolier / rig, as I am attempting. I saw there were some questions about sizing on the belt and from what I have seen the 1903 Bandolier from Amazon is slightly different from the one used on screen for this particular costume. Specifically removing 2 of the 5 pouches. They are held on with 2 straps behind and not 1 solid piece of leather, which would be visible on the back. Thus I have found this template for anyone interested.

I would probably recommend cutting the backing for the bandolier as 1 piece (per Dan's setup) and not 2 as the template shows. I think it will be far easier to make your own vs trying to modify an Amazon purchase.

Not a lot of progress this last week, but some minor things were accomplished. Again thanks to phil1880 I got the canister lids squared away. I looked up some good photo ref of the Shoretrooper canisters and 3D modeled out some new lids, which ought to be here next week.

Also, I had been sitting on my modeled bandolier greeblie thingy, which I have been calling a 'body cam' for lack of any other detail on the thing. To me it looks like the little black/dark area near the top resembles the lens area of a GoPro-type camera, so I've taken to calling it a 'body cam'. Accordingly, I added that kind of implied detail to my 3D printed version.

I'm sure now that I've committed to it someone will finally find good reference images and I'll have to redo this too...

Hey, didn’t you share this a while back I think on Thingiverse?

Hi! I know this thread is pretty old now, but wanted to let you know people are still using it (y)
I used it as inspiration for my own (very first) cosplay, at a Comic Con event this weekend.
There are a few shortcuts - I couldn't find realistic gloves, couldn't stretch to custom leatherwork (the bandolier pouches are pleather made from an online pattern), no grenades, and the kama is made from a waitress apron cut up the middle! But I think it came out ok overall.
Thanks for posting your WIP - I couldn't have built mine without it!

Hey! Love it! So glad to see someone else's build for this.

What did you do for the helmet? Did you build your own or is this one of the RS Props special secret Facebook builds? I would have liked to replace mine with one of their more 'official' copies, they looked great...

Dan

Thanks! Glad you're still here to see that you've inspired other builds (y)
The helmet was a Black Series, that I spray painted (and copied your masking tape stencil for the partisan logo) - it was the only expensive part of the build.
Spray painted using Fosco VW Bulli Green, washed over with some watered-down black Vallejo Game Wash, which came out great.
(Only mistake was not masking the inside of the visor o_O - luckily one of those magic eraser sponges worked a treat to clean it up... You learn through mistakes I guess!)
