Limited Run SaberBay DARKSABER season 3 finish now available (limited quantities) saberbay.com

How will these grips differ from the first run?
They will be the same.
We ordered extra kits as we were worried about having enough approvable units to ship.
We had to send back grips to be refinished and few other pieces.
We will be offering them from saberbay.com and there will be some that have powdercoated finishes and some same finish as before . More to update later

I'm not sure. I'm cannibalizing an electronics kit I already had.

Ok, so is this good?

Yo wired your blade data to wrong pad, you want the center one.
you wired it to blade detection pad. that is an optional that require additional board settings and wiring. The other pad is B- Which can be wired straight to battery negative for charging stand that will be offered on saberbay.com

as you can see there are 3 separate pads that line up up on the other side pads that make contact with the pogo pins of the hilt pcb

So I got everything wired up, but speaker is crackly and the blade isn't very bright. Proffie board also gets hot. Battery was at full charge. Any easy fixes on this or do I just need to take it all apart and try again?

Could mean a lot. A loose wire connection, poor solder, inadequate wires, insufficient battery even if charged, etc.

I'm confused about the pommel greeblies. I think there are three bags: one plastic black greeblie, two black metal greeblies, and two silver metal greeblies (picture below). But I'm not sure how to configure them on either the static or vented pommels. Can anyone help?

I think these are all of them but let me know if I missed something.

Two in the pommel. I used a small amount of CA to keep them in. The non-vented pommel has two small aluminum plugs in lieu of the D ring.

The two large greeblies go here. They break fairly easily, so sand until they fit.

The two smaller ones go here. I broke one of these but had no trouble gluing it back together.

The four transparent resin pieces slide in after some light sanding. I chose not to glue them in. I wet sanded the exposed areas first to get rid of the 3d printing lines.

Two small copper rods here - the one in the emitter is a tight fit but it will go in. The one in the plug required the hole to be enlarged slightly. I also wet sanded the resin insert in the blade plug.

The buttons go together like sandwiches - one piece under and one over. I wet sanded the top of the transparent resin button to remove the printing lines. I also had to sand the underside of both buttons that come into contact with the electronic switches as the switch module wouldn't sit flat.

I think that's all of them?
How are the greeblies configured on the static pommel?

This should help you with the vented pommel. The static is the same except those silver pins go in place of the D ring.
