Black wire has to be soldered to Din pad.

May I ask what size the screw is that retains the pommel? Wondering if I can use this for when I’m out and about so that I don’t have to carry a hex bit with me

Yes. Then the white wire is soldered to Data1 pad on the proffieboard. The red + wire is soldered directly to the battery, and the - black wire goes to one of the 6 LED pads.

Is your red wire going to both Com and Din? I don't think you'll want that. Din is data for pixels which it looks like you aren't using. Com is for the buttons.
Sorry, I got carried away when building last night and didn't take any pictures. I really wish I had taken a good picture of the Proffieboard adapter because I had a surprising amount of trouble figuring out how that needed to be oriented. Took me a frustratingly long time to get it.

So do I only use the Com, 1, and 2 pads?
Do you want to use the pixels, which can change colors, or just the white LEDs? If you aren't using the pixels, you don't need to worry about Din. Just Com to GND, 1 and 2 to button pads, + to battery, and - to an LED pad.

I figured just the white ones. I don't plan to change colors and hopefully it's simpler that way.

All the threads are 4-40 except the one large one on the blade sleeve is 6-32
20 Cfx builds getting shipped to me this week.
The profile is builds getting shipped within next 7-10 days hopefully.
I will need 3 days to do QI the I will back them with their blades and ship.
