Limited Run RUN CLOSED * DL-44 ESB Blaster Machined Parts Set * RUN CLOSED

I think the screws are jut filled with glue and paint.

I used to think the same thing but that back one looks extremely flat and I don't think the prop build took time to flatten out any glue or paint that could have filled in the philips recess.

For those members who questioned my post.

I'm seeing internet ads on our thread, about weight loss and other random things.

That's ALL. Calm down

Do we know what threading the center nut/rod will be for the scope mount? Determined to learn to tap things myself - although I can imagine a nut on the inside as well.

It will be a 1/4-20.

The mausers will be threaded as a temporary assembly device but due to the weight of the scope I also provide a nut to reinforce the attachment point

Is it too late to jump on this? Definitely interested **Edit, looked at the Title- Run Closed** Sad I missed this one :(

Best Answer I could have asked for, I forgot they'll be threaded already, thank you :)

You're welcome

Is there an extra scope that somebody doesn't have dibs on by chance?

I bought extra scopes from Think Jedi, email me at bobadebt@ec.rr.com and I can add you to my back up list. I can not sell most of them until the end of the project because they are insurance for lost or damaged parts of the current members kits.

I know progress is slow but there are a lot of parts to make.

I sent this email out last month but I will post it here

ESB Blaster AP Update

I spoke with the shop yesterday and have a good update for everyone.

The Scope Brackets were on hold because the programmer that was working on them thought the shop drawings were wrong because he was going by my original version (which was wrong) and the shops newest version so he wanted that cleared up prior to writing the code. So the scope brackets should go on the machine next Monday.

They are also going to make the scope bolts in black oxide steel and the tiny piston disk in raw metal such as steel or aluminum, which ever is cheaper to keep the cost at around $1 a piece.

I ordered 80 of these disks which is enough for all of the slotted pistons and about 20 extra. I plan on using them on both sides of the pistons if they look right. It will be an optional part of the hardware kit

They plan on running the scope light sockets once I verify the current drawing.

Once all of these are done they will machine the scope bodies and make the lens rings.

After that they will machine the Denix Mausers.

I am sorry this is taking longer then I expected but this is a pretty ambitious project considering that that scope is just as involved as the parts kit.

I promise the end result will be worth the wait.

Thanks

I received the M-19 Scope Bolts today so the brackets should be next :)
