I just took the 3rd batch of waxes into the foundry today. The guy that works with me is really sympathetic and was willing to take back some of the scopes that were issues caused on their end (investment tools damaging the bronze). That helps a lot, although the truth be told, the time lost is what bugs me the most. Each scope that I lose adds another day to the project for me. That said, we weeded out what we felt might be high risk for casting failure and we hope to have an even lower rejection rate this time.
I will try to step things up on the weekends...at least get 2, maybe 3 done per day, but understand that I have a family that likes to do things on the weekend, so I have to factor them in too. I am hoping to get things done by September, so that should help to make the movie premiere date.
