I just took the 3rd batch of waxes into the foundry today. The guy that works with me is really sympathetic and was willing to take back some of the scopes that were issues caused on their end (investment tools damaging the bronze). That helps a lot, although the truth be told, the time lost is what bugs me the most. Each scope that I lose adds another day to the project for me. That said, we weeded out what we felt might be high risk for casting failure and we hope to have an even lower rejection rate this time.

I will try to step things up on the weekends...at least get 2, maybe 3 done per day, but understand that I have a family that likes to do things on the weekend, so I have to factor them in too. I am hoping to get things done by September, so that should help to make the movie premiere date.

Thank you Bobadebt and Think Jedi for all your time and effort on this project. Considering the complexity of this project, I think the progress, timing and communication have been excellent. I would much rather the time be taken to do it right. Anyone on David's ROTJ HS blaster project knows he does it right.

Question for you. I have an MR luke I need a plaque for (I'm doing both versions of Hans from this run) and don't have a plaque for it. Would you be able to do one for me without the run and project but, but similar enough so my MR Luke still fits in with the others? If not I'll probably just take one of the standard ones you will be doing. I just figured I'd ask if a one off would be possible!
