ROTS Vader Mask Interior-2

fettpride, your doing an excellent job on this build!

Can't wait to see more updates on this.

Although I'm an ANH fan all the way, the ROTS reveal holds a close 2nd.

Great job! Keep up the good work!

Andy

Not sure if you're about yet Don, but on the off-chance, I also wondered if you could recall any of the specific paints/colours you used for the interior?

Ever appreciative,

Jon

Guys,
Sorry to dig up an old thtread (but not that sorry as this is a good one!) but, I'm working on my Vader reveal and am using the this guide for the internal of the face peice.
Does anyone know where you can purchase Actuator arms/ read/write arms?
I have been searching the net for places in the UK and cannot find ANYTHING apart from pics.
Also any update on the parts list on page would would be awesome!

Cheers all,
Smally.

Hey everyone,

I thought I'd breathe a little life back into this myself with a teaser of
my completed prototype. Clearer studio quality pics to follow. I'll
likely start a new thread because this one is obviously decomposing.

It should be noted, that ALL parts are castings. There are no real parts installed. With the exception of the obvious metal wire.

Best,

Chris

THanks again guys :)

Here's the next bunch ...

The interior pics are obviously an attempt at different perspective and lighting.
It's the hardest object I've ever had to photograph.

WOW that's great stuff, any chance to get this as kit form?
For me, as i now build over 3 years on my RotS Vader, this is the holy grail.

This really helped!

This really helped me building a 3d model of the mask interior in blender. Thanks a lot!

Have a look at it; there's a video at podstuff.de.
I had to make some changes to circumvent copyright issues (the model will be embedded into an iPad app).
