It's shocking to find out how small everything is!
These are some (test) prints I made on my resin printer.

where is the sign up list???![]()
Soon!
Thanks and good idea. The thing is: that was 1976 and this is years later: 1982 probably.
Huh... reading that description, then there is a potentiometer inside?
I have a hunch about the top part being a bell from an alarm clock or timer of some kind. Some bells are bottom mounted and small to fit inside clocks/alarms/timers. The metal of a bell is also thin which works with Roy's model. Another thing I was looking for is the metal caps that screw on to fan blades. (last photo is a fan finishing cap)
My hunch is hunch worthy? The way I read the description makes it sound like they may have incorporated something like an egg/cooking timer into the prop. If so and based on the bell theory, could they have used the bell of the timer for the top of the knob that is used to wind the mechanism?

Dude I’ve seen you in real life. You are huge. So everything will look small in your hands
Bingo!
Of course: the hero prop was functional. Rotating the "volume button" activated the detonator. Did I say volume button? Please check the last image I put here.
That potentiometer looks perfect, good top bevel, whole in the side. What's it off of?
OH I get it, that's pretty cleverBingo!

I've had this comment too many timesThat is small. Looks great though!
