ROTJ detonator charges

Here are the diameters x height that I have. I went with ***
6.65mm x 7.25mm
6.63mm x 6.62mm
4.95mm x 7.52mm ***
4.88mm x 7.46mm
6.60mm x 5.22mm
6.79mm x 6.67mm

Thanks, Marcus! That's very helpful. The ones you went with for your replica here seem pretty much perfect, being on the narrower side.

I'm sure there is a market for some replicas, roygilsing, particularly for that narrower size for people making Rebel charge replicas. The same ones are also used on 2-1B's head (on the bottom of the Shure microphone grill used for his mouth). Vader's ANH belt boxes have 12 of the same thumbscrews attached too, although those seem to be more like the 6.38 mm diameter and 7.63 length type. These things probably show up on a bunch of other props too, so I think you could certainly find some buyers!

I think the body is something that fits on to something else. The configuration of the three bits that sticks out on the central hole looks like a bayonet type locking mechanism. The hole, could be an indicator for a correct fit.

I was wondering if you'd ever make a cone knob to since it shows up on a few different props.
[emoji15] how many do you need?!

I'll happily buy two from you for my build!
I could also start making replicas. You guys think there's a market for them? You know it's very hard to find similar thumb screws! Anybody found any that are close?

I don't think so, since they have been replicated often enough already for the V2 lightsabers. I think it's not hard to get them. I can check with Khal from KR Sabers if he sells them separately.

I think i may have found the top part on the model gear, does this look familiar??? it has the correct dimensions and dished surface.. its so delicious lemon I think.....sorry guys I couldn't resist. Sweet tarts are my weakness
