Looking at these new pics from EW, I'm wondering if there isn't something off about the Vader costume, I'm no Vader nerd by any means and I couldn't tell you which movie any given costume was from but there's just something that's off about the 2 pics of Vader. I think there's something not quite right about the helmet/mask, but I can't place my finger on it; either that or there's a bit of camera distortion going on.
 
Because Vader can never ever change his suit up? Nevermind he did it pretty much between each movie. And he has the inner cloak going over the armor by the end of this one.

No, that's not what I was saying and I'm one of the ones that defend the notion that Vader can change his robes or the way he wears them. What I'm talking about is that there seems, to me, to be something subtly different and off about Vader in those pics. It's nothing so glaring like robes over or under his armor, the painted highlights (or lack thereof) on his mask, or anything the die hard Varder nerds like to pick at, just something that I can't quite place my finger on. I think it has something to do with the size and/or shape of Vader's mask, like it's just a little too large or something. But as I said, it could just be nothing and just my mind seeing things that are not there or maybe a little camera distortion.
 
Have you looked at every pic and actually compared side by side with pics of the other films when his helmet is positioned the same way?

No, but neither have I said that there's definitely something wrong/off about it, just that there seems to be. Like I said before, I'm not of those people who normally pick the costumes apart by saying things like the color is off by a hair, a stitch is in the wrong place, or anything like that, just that something seems to be off about Vader in the pics, not that something is or that the movie is going to suck because something looks off to me. Chances are that once I'm watching the movie I won't even notice, much less care, I certainly don't really care now as I was merely pointing out an observation and not making a criticism.

The helmet looks pretty spot on to me but I'm also not an expert.....thankfully. :)

What's throwing me off is how the cape is attached, just looks different despite how it looks in ANH. Just looks off.....

Also, I'm sure this has been shown already but I don't have the strength to comb through 162 pages, I guess I'm not very observant. This Jedi rock formation / fallen statue.......
