Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Pre-release)

How did Han Solo walk after being in carbonite for a year? What do people on Tattoine eat? Didn't DS2 screw up Endor's gravity?...You could spend the rest of your life picking apart the "science" of Star Wars but why? None of it makes ANY sense. Single ecosystem planets? The Force? SOUND IN SPACE? After 40 years a SD in atmosphere is REALLY the first hang up some of you are experiencing?!

i never thought of that!!, thats a good one!!

In my head "What the hell is a destruction porn?!" I just asked my girlfriend and she said "I don't know, but I wouldn't look it up." Then I got what you meant. [emoji38]

WTH is happening in this thread?
The man of steel is destruction porn. So are all of the transformers flicks, the avengers, civil war, the force awakens, both JJ TREKS, etc....

It would be boring as hell if every battle was in a desolate area. Good try with the 9/11 thought. Seriously, if that's all you can look back to in any battle on screen that has people in it, I feel sorry for you

Like I said, I feel sorry for an author or viewer who can't separate reality from supposed "imagery". seriously, it's a bit pathetic.

What do you call Akira? Pre 9/11 destruction porn? Violence is the answer. I will say, some moments are meant to feel like terrorist attacks. A lot going on in Civil War felt like that. When Bucky attacks the UN meeting, Crossbones stealing stuff and things. But a Transformer swoops in and kills someone I don't say, "OMG Illuminati, Starscreams jet fuel doesn't melt steel!"

LOL...Rogue one looks to be giving the Rebel Alliance that true rag tag feel, a group of similar ideals fighting for a single cause. Lucky for us most of the fighting seems to take place on a military outpost, no trumped up casualties from a overly populated city like Jakku...:lol

Akira is Japanese. The same folks who brought you Godzilla, yamato and Macross. I'd call that post WW2 disaster porn.

So....... basically in your view anything that isn't Sausage Party is destruction Porn based propaganda to make us remember 9/11.

Methinks thou mightest be choosing to look at the world through a very slender lens.

I forgot to mention earlier when it was being discussed... I don't see that AT-ACT "shaking its head like a wounded elephant". I see a missile hitting it on one side of the cockpit, and the explosion shoving the "head" in the opposite direction. I see nothing after that, not even a conjectural "servo rebound" as the articulation systems try to pull the cockpit back to forward, so I don't know where people are getting that...

Based on a lot of comments polluting these threads recently it seems the entire purpose of the Internet is to complain about nothing.
