Yeah, not a huge spoiler. Not too hard to connect those dots, being a stand alone film and all. I was already assuming that. Hope they didn't give him hell. Not a big deal.

That's not the complete panel, at least 20 minutes is missing from the beginning. Most of the other panels have been posted on YT, haven't seen the R1 panel yet but I'm still looking for it.

I guess I'm a "traditionalist" when it comes to SW but I'm fine with there being no crawl for these standalone movies.

As for the spoiler, yeah I suppose it technically is but it isn't really a huge shock. I was expecting that to the case and probably much more.

That is the whole selling point of the movie for me, a star wars film that isn't safe, where anyone and everyone could die before the end of the film, not just the one whose job it is to pass the torch.

I'm ok with the spoiler, since it's a standalone film, and I don't really consider it a plot point.
I'm also ok with the movie not having an opening crawl, but I hope they do something that still feels distinctly Star Wars, that perhaps could be used for all of the standalone films, and separates it from feeling like a regular movie. I want to know I'm watching a Star Wars movie from the first moment! But an opening crawl doesn't make the movie.

I think the differences of this movie could make it something special, and I'm confident in everything I've seen so far.

What is up with these new shuttle design? Both of the new disney designs have overly long wings. And NO visible cockpit.

I know Celebration Europe just wrapped up but that does seem odd that there wouldn't be at least some sort of SW presence for the biggest nerd gathering of the year!
