Technically speaking, you did. Jango was the template, not Boba. Again, technically. Now, if we were to go back in time, I would have loved to see a new character as the clone template.
Now, if we were to go back in time, I would have loved to see a new character as the clone template. I firmly believe in using new characters instead of bit players from the old movies. Anything to make the galaxy bigger is always the high road.
I never thought that I wanted to see a geezer solo. IMHO, those characters finished their story after Jedi.Funny thing I have NO interest in JJ Wars with geezer Solo and Co. Just don't care, not my thing. Won't see.
However this film I have some hope for.
My only hope? LOL
Anyone else similar?
JJ Wars does not work for me for a multitude of reasons I won't bore people with.
.
That's a relief. Really.
I know people are pumped, enjoy.
I feel it's... *thinks* Okay, look at it this way. The Empire has a galaxy to conquer and control. They're generally ill-equipped to handle this sort of thing. But there are people who spend their entire careers honing the skills to find people who don't want to be found. The general Imperial approach has tended to be to whack the galaxy with sticks in hopes of flushing out their quarry. Which takes time, isn't very efficient, and doesn't always yield results. Vader, however, is the pragmatist who calls in the experts the Imperial military is too snobbish to lower themselves to consorting with.
And Imperial Intelligence, the ISB, the commandos... They've been okay up to this point, but this battle is something new. It takes them a few years to adjust.
Oh, and bounty hunters are totally mercenaries. Real world and fictional.

Bounty Hunters =/= Mercenaries
