I have a feeling this movie will (hopefully) tug on the heartstrings quite a bit. I have a strong feeling most of our plucky heroes aren't gonna make it.

For any of you guys that played Dark Forces II, is it just me or is there a very slight Baron's Hed (but on a plateau) vibe from that city we see? Even looks like there is a tower that dominates the cityscape.

Is it me or does Vader look tiny? It's either the shoulders not being broad enough or the bucket too big but he looks awfully...small...

It's not just you. When I paused it on that shot I thought the exact same thing.

That was my immediate impression, as well. It's imperative that Vader look just right in this film, which takes place so close to ANH.

Jury's still out for me on this film. I've seen way too many trailers in my life that looked good and the films were shat. I still roll my eyes at the Samurai--it brings me right out of that galaxy and back into this one.

Having said all that, I remain hopeful the movie will be good.

Vader almost looks cg in that shot. To me anyway.

Trailer looks great, but then again, the trailers for TFA were impressive, and I was very disappointed. I will remain cautiously optimistic.

Yeah, he might be a bit smaller but I can't say I'm seeing any significant difference in his stature.

The guy they used, Spencer Wilding, is a 6'7" built guy like Prowse. I'm not seeing this huge size difference. Stills from Empire

That may be so, but, I dunno, something about either the helmet sitting too low or the angling that just make him look like those Funko bobbleheads that came out years ago.

I gotta say, I was impressed with everything I've seen up until now. I am very much looking forward to this movie, but only a couple of shots in this new trailer stood out to me.

Not that it was bad, but it is missing something and I can't put my finger on it.

I can't see a problem with Vader,.....the broadness of his shoulders are a pretty good match,.....they've matted down the shine of the helmet a good bit also,....which is nice

Headlights on the X-Wings,....in the rain......beautiful

....& I'm glad Vader isn't standing on top of this TIE as it rises,....imagine how cheesy & stupid that would look LOL:

Thank you, I've even done lining things up as proportionally as I can and can't see the problem. But this is lining with ESB Vader from the back.
