Rocketeer Jetpack engines

I have been slowly working on a rocketeer jetpack...and have almost completed the engine rework.

Everything above the nozzle itself has been machined out of aluminum. In doing so I "idealized" the original casting a bit after finding the hoses didn't fall nicely with the valves in their original placement. I also redid all of the fittings on the booster in brass.

A few stainless hoses to go...and some plates to cover up mounting screws...

But will it really fly?

Here are a few more pictures with the hoses.

A bit of weathering when they go into the housing in the rocket pack...around the grill area.

Those look fantastic Jason!

Are you having to 'beef-up' the rocket housing to accommodate these parts?
We really must get together one day.

Well done- just do not forget to plug up that bullet hole in the tank with Beeman's gum before you hit that button!
