If what I heard early on holds true, that suit may well be an OCP military prototype meant for a human to wear. In other words the starting point for the Robo program and the stepping stone for OCP's full fledged RoboCop which is a machine with human judgement.

Hopefully that's the case. I really want Robocop to have that badass metal look!

Maybe they'll add in some more touching scenes to get more of an emotional scene with Murphy and his wife/widow. I'm sure they won't ruin every aspect of the movie, but some changes are necessary so it can be different.

The suit in those photos doesn't impress me, but taken out of context it could be anything; pre-Robocop daily duty body armor, for example. As dbalschi posted above, I'll reserve judgement until after I've seen the movie.

It's hard not to judge, BUT, to me it just looks like a suit. Not a robot. Maybe i've been spoiled by Iron Man etc.......

I see it as a nod to the original, if you remember, they saved his arm, and then are told to remove it afterward.

Who says it's part of the design? That doesn't look like an active take to me.. I don't think that camera's running. The actor (who is it, anyway?) probably took the glove off to take a leak or something.
