Redtogusa's Amazing Spiderman Build. McL34Ns pattern. (update 16/10/12, 99% done!)

Re: Redtogusa's Amazing Spiderman Costume using McL34Ns pattern (Update pg 7).

This may be a bit redundant now as folks are figuring out how to do the puff paint but I'm still getting a few PM's asking how to do it so I thought I'd go ahead and put this small video tut up anyway.

Apologies for the bad picture quality but this is the first time I've done a vid so be forgiving.

My gosh, Redtogusa! That looks amazing! (Unintentional pun) You definately have a steady hand. I may have to pick up one on MCL34N's or Taylor's prints! Great Job!

Your voice is so soothing.
Like Morgan Freeman or Johnny Ives.
It's like listening to angels beat boxing.
Thank you for the video.

If your joking then thanks for the laugh and get your hearing checked. :lol

Redtogusa thanks for the video! Sooo helpful to actually see it being done. Your work is amazing, I can't wait to see the finished suit! Do you have a special technique for the black web lines? They curve slightly so you can't use a ruler, but yours are so well done!

Re: Redtogusa's Amazing Spiderman Costume using McL34Ns pattern (Update pg 7).

Awesome thread! Thank you so much for sharing! I've got one of taylor's suits right now at my seamstressing getting assembled and these tips will be invaluable when I get to the painting stage. You guys are all being so helpful :)

And yes, you do have a very soothing voice.

Hey guys. So this is not the type of update you were expecting but I thought you might be interested in how my wife's Gwen Stacy is coming on. The top jumper/sweater thing is all wrong, we're still trying to track a suitable one down but the rest is pretty close.

Sweet! is that her real hair color or is that a wig? She's pulling it off nicely!

How's the rest of the suit coming along? Any progress?
