It's almost complete, just the gauntlet pods. treads & small detail pieces left to go.

And next to a 12 inch ruler for scale.

So I finally had one of those "overdue catastrophic failures". :D
The printer broke in one of those essential locations, and I had to wait for replacement parts.

Anyway, the printer's operational again, and we can resume fabrication.

Managed to replace a couple of barely visible parts, and the ducting fits a little better, but I'll replace those when I swap out filament colors.

And the canopy joint is working as intended.

Registered just to be able to post in this thread, Robot Jox had a big influence on me as a kid. This is phenomenal work!

I know you addressed it about a year ago, but have you given any more thoughts to releasing or selling the .stl files? I have scoured the internet for anything printable for the Matsumoto 14 for years with no success.

Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see it finished.

Welcome to the RPF! Hopefully you'll find more projects/builds here to keep you around.

The project is still moving along, but it's not in a condition that can be released.
The test print revealed plenty of technical problems that need solving, and modifying or rebuilding up to 300 parts needs some serious time & determination. :D
We're also only at the modeling phase, almost 1/3 of "complete". I still have to work on the graphics for decals, and a proper assembly & operation manual.

Maybe this project needs a "Plan B" - but we're already 5 years in, and counting.

Thanks!
