Haven’t updated for a while, here is where I’m up to atm. Made the most of the Indian Summer we had a few weeks ago and got busy in the garden. Just need to install the trigger mechanism and then electronics.

Still a few things to sort, shroud tabs/plates and assorted screws but I’m almost there.

Sean, I’ve loved every moment of this build, have tried a few things I’ve never done before (Maskol and bought a cheap Humbrol Airbrush!) and it definitely made the last month of Summer more memorable before going back to work. Thank you so much Sir!

I’m definitely thinking of a Smart Gun build for Lockdown 2...

10 hole ‘hero’ barrel shroud with strengthened front triangle and sling loop... just need to print and test.

Remington trigger assembly redesign, I was sick to the back teeth of struggling with the old assembly so I sorted the bugger out, the trigger now works with its own spring and the hammer now works by attaching springs to the added pegs which are in turn attached to pegs on the frame.

New Remington trigger assembly up and running.. builds up in minutes and gives a lovely click with a nice spring loaded trigger, I used two elastic bands on the pegs for ease of build.
