Well they still have to be built, As for being perfect I'd be happy getting somewhere in the ballpark:D

Haha, yeah, building is the key, they will be fine Rob, there really not that hard at all, and as i said, with the R&D your doing, cant wait to see them!

Started to get some paint on the probe. One last plastruct eye and mix up the orange for the makings left to do.

Absolutely stunning! Your skills are impeccable! Now I want to build one!! This is going to be a great thread to follow!!!

Thanks for the kind words. To be honest I'm glad I just didn't make total cockup of the paint. Its really a chameleon changes a lot based on the slightest change in lighting.
Gotta say big thanks to mars, would have been lost if it wasn't for his advice.

I hope one day to achieve such results while worrying about cocking-it-up! Very nice. Can't wait to see what you do with that AT-ST in the background. ;) Neat to see work benches in progress.

Seconded Rob, yours really does look top shelf brother. Get it out into some daylight and shoot some nice hi-def pix. I would love to see her up close to better appreciate the weathering

Awesome job rob!
Beautiful paint job and I guess all the hard work pays off at the end
Keen eye for detail and thank you for the combined effort and help on the probe.
Again excellent job .

Yer the iPhone 4 just doesn't cut it anymore but unfortunately all my spare cash seems to be going into kits and parts. But The Taun will be fully finished next Thursday so i need to do it justice with some decent shots.

Yer mate it's been a blast collaborating with you. Nothing like team work to get things done. Lot's more work on allot projects to come still.

Again thank's for all the kind words from my fellow prop builders:thumbsup

Pic 4 takes the cake, and for me totally captures the prop as i see it in the holy Chronicles, something i just cannot manage to achieve, its a thing of beauty!

Lee mate,
I am not going to say its easy but easily achievable.
What paints did you use he first time and then the second time???
Maybe we can help you out ?
There is a basic paint sequence and believe it or not it's only 3 colours.

Might just have to post here for all to see ?

Mate I will be getting every bit of advice I can get when I do my (kit). Might just have to come down there for a firsthand look.

That looks stunning, they just keep getting better and better. Cant wait to see this with its legs and all finished ready for display. Seriously jaw dropping stuff

Was gonna say that, LEGS, aching to see the legs on these two bad boys, there both amazing, soooo much more than what me and Guy did way back, awesome times for PD fans.
