My kit-bashed Probe Droid

Hello! I've had this completed and entered for awhile but thought I would finally share my take for Archive X's probe droid competition. I view it as military grade, highly modified & illegal probe droid used by bounty hunters/the criminal underworld. I tried my hardest to depart from the iconic and beautifully designed Viper probe droid as seen in ESB. I love the look of the Imperial probe droid so much it was difficult to think of something that was different and yet still recognizable in it's purpose, which is what I was aiming for. Much like my kit-bashed speederbike that I entered for the 2019 Archive X contest, this too went together smoothly! I guess I just need competitions to get my creative juices flowing as always, thanks for looking!

I totally get your point regarding coming up with an alternative design for something that you really love. But this is awesome work, man! Love the design and it does have something similarly creepy about it.

Well, in a way lol it's the middle portion of an F-14 body cut and spliced down the middle

Thanks Joberg! Definitely was going for something insectoid like, much like how the original ESB probe had a cool, spider like insect like feel, I wanted to find a similar, yet different vein for mine.

Haha thanks mate! Yeah after I finished, I could definitely envision fighting against it in a seedy underworld part of Coruscant or on some distant planet in a video game like Jedi Survivor or SW Outlaws.
