Priming advice

i would have to say the same, normally i use the Rust-oleum filler primer as well but they do make a primer specifically made to stick to plastic

Thanks for the responses. As hobby stores around my area are scarce, what's a good brand that I could get at maybe Wal Mart or an automotive store? The only thing I'll be using it for is to prime pvc and vinyl models

Make sure your primer is lacquer-based and apply it in several light coats. Enamel will never dry on vinyl!

If you want a basic primer to fill and sand get some Rustoleum at the Home Depot or any auto parts store, if you want a smooth flawless finish before you paint your model "Tamiya's Fine gray primer" it's the Cadillacs of primers.
