PR2 Scatterbuild Thread

So I will preface this by saying I am tired of having a hundred different threads that get updated once a year when i have time to stop and make updates and when i have time to work on them. My job and family keep me pretty busy nowadays and after taking inspiration from kevin926 thread I've decided its time to put a scatterbuild thread together.

On my workbench right now is:

The Black Gaurdians communication crystal from Doctor Who season 20: Mawdryn Undead, Terminus, and Enlightenment.

My V2 Batradio from the '66 Batman Series

My Total Dehydrator from the '66 Batman Movie

Finishing up my ROTJ Scout Trooper

And about 10 or 15 other things.. LOL. Cant keep my brain on one thing i guess!

I have a whole TARDIS room. I've made quite a few props that are on display in there. My favorite show of all time!!

Got the first junk casting of the communicator crystal done. Wasnt worried about interior bubbles since it was more for proof of concept and to make sure i could get all the exterior details in. Not bad for a first casting, but the next ones will be pressure casted.

Finally got some time to push on new projects this weekend! Monkeys head sculpt has made some progress since it was wrapped in plastic wrap about 4 months ago!

I have tried that method after Magnoli brought that method to the light on the Indy forums. Thinking of using that method on the casts i intend on making sometime in the next few months since i liked the results on smaller pieces.

For now, this monkey head is my main focus and then i plan to mold it and my idol together.

Its crazy what you find when you are out and about huh? I am currently on deployment (have been for the last few months) ane found these drain strainers in the mess deck food warmer pans. These are the same size and profile as the circular screens on the front of the 66 bat radio! Now i need to find them in brass!

Im back at it! Since im terrible at taking progress pics, once I got back I jumped head first down the rabbit hole. I completed (excluding the tusks) an ROTJ Vader helmet from a casting I recieved from a friend. Also working on finishing an SE ROTJ Fett helmet for myself. And today I added sound to my Logans Run follower!
