Anyone have a link to perforated metal mesh for lenses? I dont want to buy something that wont work....to thick or wrong holes etc.... need to replace Oracles leses cause theyre way hazzy and fog up easy in Florida humidity

I just saw some mesh splatter screens at dollar tree recently. Seems like a good, cheap option.

After almost 5 years of following this thread, I can finally post my own Spidey pics! Suit pattern is an Orhadar classic comic Spider-man, with a darker shade of blue. Also wearing a TJack ASM2 faceshell/lenses kit.

This is my first cosplay. I've had the costume for about 2 years, I've just never had the opportunity to wear it at a con until a few weeks ago. And don't worry, I'm working on bulking up so I can be a lean muscular Spidey, instead of just a skinny one. :lol

Been looking to get this one done for a few years - after the first ASM film came out there were a bunch of alternative concept suit designs released. This one really stood our for me

Hit up The New Blood Workshop who was fantastic and followed all my ideas including the unique rear design [there were no rear pics of this concept]. Then had to wait till I could get the suit made through RPCStudio - still need replacement silver lenses [I was hoping the lenses would be reflective mirrored but they couldn't achieve that with the shape I was going for]



Cattoys Winter soldier shield - I think the blue goes much better w/ the suit than the red/blue original or movie style designs

Whatd you use for the lenses?

It's a simple two layer design of clear plastic sheet (found in the model making section of a hobby lobby) and white plastic mesh (it's actually knitting canvas; from JoAnn's fabric store). I spray painted white around the edges of the plastic sheet to give a nice frame-less effect and I sprayed the backside of the mesh a matte black to help with visibility. Glued the two halves together and gave them their curve by carefully heating up the lenses with a hairdryer (since I don't have a heat gun).
