The "Paris Spinner" is in need of some serious restoration...alas, the museum doesn't have the money to do so:(:(:(

I worked in a museum doing restoration work, I would love to do it :)
Quite a few pieces are missing and some were affixed at the wrong place.:(:(:( Yellow lights were glued on each side of the car (wrong), some paneling, to hide the electronics and aluminum structure is also gone.

I could make a whole list of problems with the model.
Unfortunately I don't live in France, but 2 countries to the north.

Not sure if I follow the sarcasm. Shirley, you can’t be serious.
Just not a fan - am old school, and like the old school methods.

But...

That's just me.

And I respect that times change, tech changes, and we all have to roll with the changes...

Not unlike Tippet, when his stop-motion for Jurassic got bumped for CGI dinos.

My mild rant is not on-topic for this thread, and I will desist, with apologies...

Personally, I see the value in new tools, but every tool to its task.

There is a place for 3D printing. It's a very good hammer, but not all problems are nails.
