Working on a S:ASWS full FDM print at the moment. Still in the designing stage but once I get everything how I want it I’ll move next into orientating each part to be printed correctly. Reducing print lines as much as possible..

Not really sci-fi or prop related but general modeling. Been working on a scratch built/ drawn McLaren M6GT race car from the late 60's. You may recall a copy of one was modified for the tv show "Hardcastle and McCormick."

I start a project, I get bored, then I'm onto another. Yeah, I probably have ADHD and a few other psychological issues, but at least I'm having fun and not looking to change. I run into a problem, put it on the back burner and return to it later.

A few days ago I started doing a TOS BSG Shuttle. I'm pretty sure there's a parts page for this on theRPF, and I'll look at that too. Some research I did pegs this thing at 59cm in length (almost 2 feet), so I'm designing it in several printable sections, with a hollow interior. The panelling is an afterthought and honestly, I'd rather do it myself, so I can omit that stuff in the design easily. I'm going off of studio scale pictures, which are rare nowadays, and I modelled the overall design off the blueprints of Jim Stevenson. Mostly accurate, except some errors on greeblie placement.


If anyone has any suggestions or a correction to the model, feel free to post. Cockpit window cutouts will be done later.

Yes, I did find it. The parts needed are not quite as extensive as on the Millennium Falcon, but there are still quite a few.

I made a 6x60x56 March Genesis Scope to go with my custom Horizon's Lord Anti-Materiel rifle.

The real scope has an unusual ability to compensate for a extreme elevation by actually having a linkage inside to "bend" the scope. Rubber boots on each side are used as seals.

Back in the days of phone books.... yes kids, phones had books instead of a contacts app list.... me and my brother would smack each other with the hefty yellow pages while quoting the line, "The yellow pages, for when you need to reach out and touch someone".

You could put AT&T on the scope and when someone asks what that means....

Emperer Georgeau's sword from St: Discovery. Did this a few years back for a friends cosplay. Sword is printed with a steel rod down the middle for stability and weight. Gold is all gold leaf foil. Scabbard is a 3d printed shell with bass wood overlay for the details.
