Working my way through the M41A variants - this one is the M41A - MK2 from AVP:Colonial marines.
This one has a detachable grenade launcher you can swap out for a shotgun and flame thrower - still modelling those though.....

Even though it probably is crazy, I am still working on the Eagle landing pad in 1/72 and 1/48 scale. Accommodations are made for led lights around the pad.

I have roughly correlated the length of the 1/72 eagle to the dimensions of the landing pad, and it could fit on a 12" bed, so this may be a printable kit in the future.

Did they have windows under the landing pads? The only 'windows' I see are vertical and not even sure if they're windows. Unless S2 landing pads are different from S1.

In this shot, those black "panels" are just to give it visual interest.
But in this shot it appears that the landing pad has several levels above and below ground. The windows do appear lighted.
One of the problems with the show, is that the landing pads changed shape and complexity during the season.

Yeah, both landing pads are totally different. I guess you could have no windows and leave it up to the builder to add on the details/greeblies, etc.

Amongst other things, I'm currently building an Eduard 1/48 model Spitfire and recently lost a tiny elevator trim wheel that sits on the portside cockpit wall.
It's somewhere in the carpet of my workshop, never to be seen again...
The kit came with an alternative elevator trim wheel for another variant, however I was loathed to use it and chose instead to model the piece and try printing on the Form2.
I wasn't sure if the small details would show up as the part is only 3mm or just shy of 1/8" in diameter.
Fortunately I had a second kit to reference from for the CAD work, as seen here.
I also took the opportunity to model some small control levers that were missing from the instrument panel. The details on these were even finer.
Above: parts in the Form2 software preparing the raft and supports.
Below: parts printed and cleaned.
Here are the pieces in place and under paint.
Very happy with the result and a good thing I printed two, as I managed to lose one of the printed pieces also as it shot off at high speed whilst snipping it from the supports with sprue cutters. Derp!

I've subdivided some of the parts so that it will fit onto a 12" print bed. The diameter of the ring for the landing pad will be 1.08 metres or a bit over 42 inches for a 1/72 Eagle. 1.62 or almost 64 inches for a 1/48 and double that for 1/24. You might want to invest in an industrial printer for the 1/24 version.
I numbered some of the pieces.

I'm reviewing the proportions. The building attached to the landing pad looks to be a little large and the angles in the pictures seem to be a bit more acute.
