PIH Selling Another "Original" Luke ANH Hilt

This is the one he has in the radio interview. There are a few more photos of it but this is the only one I have on my phone

It came off the radio stations website with a written interview, there were a few more professional pictures like this of it

The other photos prove it’s a non-Folmer. And the t track has flat cut ends and not angled.

The other thread I have these pics in we can’t figure out who made the bubble strip, to me I though the strip was actually vintage

And even though there is more photos they don’t show the d ring attachment

I believe the legal term is “guilty of shenanigans” .

I brought this same exact thing up a while ago. I put him on blast because he’s caught lying right in the video! Right at the beginning he claims it’s the original.. then at the end it’s all replica parts..

I always wanted to meet this guy, being the father of the lightsaber... but now after pulling these stunts I could care less...

I had a few rolls of Saberfreak's track but sold them, even gave one to Roger Christian when he came to Malaysia. The vintage t-tracks I currently carry are the ones I found last year. They have a slimmer taller profile and they're brown.

Sweet! Yes, I was gonna say, or rather I SHOULD'VE said, that the Saberfreak tracks are too short for what I'm looking for. I've got some of his stuff here. Not tall enough.

Yours looks closer, but still not right. I'd still love to get myself some, though, if you can spare any!

It looks like your track is taller, which is great, but it tapers at the top. The stuff I'm looking for looks to me like it's the same thickness all the way up, and it seems to be more red in color.

I almost wanna say that I can see a casting bubble in the bubble strip.

At this point I don't really care to seriously try to find out one way or the other, because I think his whole story is utter bull-poo.

It never sat well with me that Roger never gave due credit to the late John Stears, the real prop master of ANH among many other films. John Stears was predominantly known as a "special effects" guy, but with one caveat, he worked on props like Bond's DB5, The Golden gun, lightsabers, and such. If you had a prop that needed to do something cool, you talked to Mr. Stears.
I'm certain that Mr. Stears created the spinning lightsaber blade effect, and he may have done a bit of what Mr. Cristian is claiming as his own work. It seems to me that Roger Christian may be another Andrew Ainsworth.

See this is all new to me, I always thought roger was THE GUY. Where can I learn more about John Stears?

I find this very very interesting, another thing that always bothers me is the negativity Roger has towards the ESB graflex

“Who would use screws in the grips, it really takes away the look of the weapon”

This really is upsetting... next year when he’s hurting for cash another one is going to surface, Mark my words..

Nah...the next one will be the “rediscovered” ANH Macro-binoculars...found in the same miracle storage locker that will become like Mary Poppin’s carpet bag; with an endless supply of original ANH props to retrieve from.
