Peter Vincent (Tennant) Large Pic

Thanks for the t-shirt link! I loved this movie and have started the shotgun. I want to wear this for next Halloween, the coat will be the time-hog for sure. Anyone have a line on the curved knife he has? I know it's probably a random Bedouin knife but thought it was worth putting out there.

I looked through google image results for that knife for hours last week and didn't have any luck finding the exact one. The problem with those knives is that they're all the same basic design, but the filigree and handle detailing are all different.

I looked for the knife for hours as well and came up with a few "Close" versions
but nothing dead on. Some of those knives are one offs and it could be the case
with his. I have put this costume off till next year due to the coat, but I am still
looking for a good one. Baron never got back to me on the design. Asked for more
photos, i sent them, then nothing.

Might be tricky to remove the zipper, you'd definitely end up with lots of stitch holes that wouldn't go away.

If you even WANT to take off the zipper. I mean, lots of coats have zippers and buttons, in fact, the coat in the film may have had the zipper left in place, they may have just had buttons added, or the biker jacket they found had buttons on it already. Either way, the zipper could be passable, ya know?

I think the film coat was 100% custom made, not a modified existing coat.
That is what makes this hard when one wants to go for screen accurate.

Oh totally true. I was just offering suggestions for a close-enough getup because his intentions are for Halloween. Screen accuracy is decidedly NOT my forte, haha.

lol yea, screen accuracy is a bit of a pain in the ass with this one
but aren't all these movie costumes? It's what makes it mind numbing
yet fun.

Baron can suck like that sometimes. I sent them an email a week ago and haven't heard back. Keep resending every few days until they answer.

Does anyone have pics of his shoes from this flick? I've given up on NOT doing this outfit now, haha.

I have an update for this project if anyone is interested. If you're not going for movie accurate, the costume stores are selling daggers that are the same style as Peter's is on the poster. A bit of a paint job and it'll be a very decent static prop for the ensemble piece. I'll post pics soon as I pic one up.

I was doing some research on this one several months ago. The gun is actually built off of either a Civil War or World War I model. The dagger is, if I remember correctly, Indian.
Based on the poster, the sheath on his other hip is the sheath that would have accompanied the bayonet that goes with the rifle/shotgun.
