I had a old crusty Chinese low rider fender in the garage for many years and was going to toss it out when I got an idea for a easy to make Delta light display. Gonna give it it to my buddy so he can display a X1 delta I made for him in his office.

I thought you guys would enjoy seeing this, I went to a friend's house and saw her dad's enormous collection of toys from the 50s-70s, and at the very end of the room was this absolutely gorgeous Krate from the late 60s, according to him, and he also showed me the V-rroom accessory.

Who was riding their bike in Oakland yesterday! Saw it parked outside of Ike's sandwich shop. I go really excited I thought I was the only one in the Bay area with an X1!

Mmmm...I love that story, did you take a picture?, it would last longer.

Considering the ridiculous rarity of the mudflaps, what's a good looking close enough/similar looking flap? And would most of the vintage flaps on ebay probably be too brittle for use?

The start of it. Going in for paint next week. It's been a group project I've been working on it along with the bike shop in our town and of course the form and members helping with parts!!! It's been a lot of fun

You're the only person I've seen that started with the saddlebags. :D

Do you not like the look of the sling rings around the taillight lenses?

Anyway, good to have another builder in here. Keep us posted.

The saddlebags are what I was worried about the most. I wanted something that was stable and would be easily disassembled for repair etc. I never realized how many parts it took to get a bike put together. I'll post more pictures a little further along.
