Nice work kevjh, good to get the hard stuff out of the way first, makes the rest of it seem a lot easier, your bags and console look Awesome!
Man, how did I miss that! In fact, why did I miss this bike when that "screen used" one got all the publicity and was sold for for 36,000?Six years!
Aaaagh!
Is there anyone who could post all the pictures from the Aug. 14 ebay auction screen used bike?
I was just now catching up on this thread, and the pics aren't available on the auction page any more:

My guess is that the ebay bike didn't actually change hands for $1600. I bet the seller got so many frantic email offers that he sold the bike privately for much much more.
But who knows

Ha, Ha, indianabric was a faster typist than me! I think Ruddigger said he missed the auction by minutes, it was a "Buy it Now" auction and it only lasted 12 minutes, and only 7 people looked at it, makes you wonder what the first six were thinking?, guess they weren't, I wonder who got it, where it went, and what are they going to do with it?, they got the deal of the century, if it really went for $1600.00, because they were bidding $36,000.00 on some other "crappy bike" that claimed to be screen used not too long ago.
I also stumbled across this which nicely illustrates that:View attachment 441851
Everything Wrong With The Bike:
- Saddlebags are mishapen, have the wrong latches, the chrome section also is shaped incorrectly.
- Spinners have too thick of a pattern.
- Tiger Siren has the smaller housing and has the original color scheme.
- The shape of the top console bag is too flat, and missing the orange taillight.
- Super Rocket Ray is missing a fin.
- Fender skirts also seem to be on the outside of the fender.
- Wrong grips.
Quite simply. The bike is nice on it's own. My biggest gripe about that auction though was that you'd have to have been watching the movie while squinting to believe it was screen-used. Many key differences in parts and shape give it away. Feel bad for the guy who had to shovel out $36K for it. The $1,600 bike however was indeed one of the luckiest things ever.
