Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

Great work guys! I need to move closer to you Brownie! I could use a media blaster at my beck and call ;)

Frank.. I have seen the spaz stix... To me it doesn't quite have the shine to it. Gregg... Since I have had the business I don't sand anything by hand! It has spoiled me! :)

BTW guys, frosted silver is not meant to look like chrome, its more for parts that are CADium plated. I think eastwood sells a paint like that that may be more durable as well. You can also just satin finish clear over it.

Thanks for clearing that up Abe. And skill, like frank said, use a Gloss Black undercoat with that Duplicolor Chrome paint!
I was reading back through the thread taking notes on kxazbug's saddlebags and looking at Ryan's build for about 5 or 6 hours, and got a lot more info! :lol

I also got a couple of laughs looking at some of the inaccurate bikes out there. Some were actually pretty cool, but the others made laugh hysterically! I'm happy to say my 3" mirror, seat, and machined collar should be arriving in the mail tomorrow! I looked back on my DVD of the film too and saw the the Tarzan bike with the straight-bar frame as mentioned previously which at first was a bit tough to spot but I saw the differences! Overall, I got a lot more info on what my options are. Thanks guys!

I also found an old spinner template here (If anyone has a better one please send me one!), which I think I might use to make a new set after I purchase some of frank's metal ones once I have more money.

I got one of those et sirens also.
on the spinner art, if you are trying to replicate a real bike, the are is different on each side. Also it is much easier to just have the white cut on white vinyl and paint the disks red.

Awesome! I have the basic yellow siren with mic, but the bracket snapped off just like with Rudd's tiger siren a few years back. The old Motobecane road bike I got my kickstand from is in very good condition and I'm selling it soon so I can get X1 parts! That reminds me, anyone ever done research on the "X-1" motorbike used in the drive-in movie?

Yep....it's a stock BMW R100RT. I almost bought one over the summer and decided against it when my wife pointed out that I never rode my other motorcycle any more. It's a pretty bike, and BWM's are great rides..but alas, I guess that is one less toy to own.

nope. Going focus on a old car project now. How about you? hehe.

I actually lost interest in motorcycles a few years back.
