I would definitely be interested. What OD and length did you decide to use?

I went with 1-1/4 OD and I'm cutting them to 1-1/4 in length. Set screws are black 10-32.

Good deal! Those are the same measurements that I came up with looking at a pic from one of the museum bikes.

I don't have any idea what the actual size is or what they used, all I know is, it is bigger than standard bicycle brake cable, I would venture a guess of 8mm or 5/16"?, here is a pic I saved from a real prop bike that recently sold on Ebay:

Huh, that also solves my center mounting problem, plumbing strap!
Originally I had no idea how to fasten the skirt, especially since the cantilever frame I'm using has the two bars.

Well, after a week of waiting, I've finally got my springer fork. Not accurate, but it doesn't bother me, it gets the message across.

When I started to look for parts it took forever to find the correct signal stat lenses now it seems like I'm buying everyone I see haha. I got some extra rings so maybe I will sell a set or two if anyone wants the correct lenses for their build.

Yeah, I tend to do the same thing, it's like a shark feeding frenzy, I can't help myself. especially on the harder to get stuff, I figure you have to get it while you can, and if life imitates art and your bike does gets stolen, you can just build another one, Ha.Ha.

Funny thing, I was going through my room and I came across this Godzilla mask I bought a few years ago, and I just noticed Pee-wee has an almost identical one in his room!

That's cool, I always liked the '60's lazy eyed Godzilla best!, it's funny, but somehow a guy in a foam suit smashing models appeals to me more than all this new fangled CGI

I'm watching Ghostbusters and got an idea that's maybe gonna take up whatever money I have left after the bike is done: An Ecto-X1 bike. Just imagine, the X1 with a white paintjob and the red details and accents, ghost trap top bag and proton pack saddlebags. Red plexiglass cut to look like Cadillac tailfins, Slimer siren on the front, and a whole lot more.

I actually drew up concept art of an Ecto X-1 a few months ago. It'd be a nice idea but probably not cheap to do.

Made some new aluminum strips for my frame insert as well as for my buddy Derek. I tried to make them look like the Hollywood museum bike. A lot happier with these than my other attempt.
