Thanks for all the feedback. When I first came to the Lair and got into this stuff, I was always blown away when I saw the stuff that was being done by some of the best artists who KNEW how to draw/paint/sculpt all things Predator. There were a few tutorials by a few people, but not that many and not that detailed. TMI was the first to post a start to finish paintup on a DBP1 and that got me totally stoked! I told myself that I could do that and then it was just a matter of waiting until I got a latex head. I stumbled upon TWO awesome heads and I went to town.
The whole reason I wanted to do a tutorial was to show people that if I can do it, then surely they can as well. I have a lot of respect for these guys that airbrush fine details and make them look lifelike with the underlying veins. Some people don't want to give away trade secrets or maybe they just dont want to take pics of the whole process...but I think that teaching others can be very rewarding in itself.
Mine isn't perfect, but I'm really impressed at how it turned out. And hey, maybe if Larry sees this he can show us a little sneak peak of how he does a paintup next time...
