Thanks Scott! I wanted to add this color but after I put brown on top of it, you won't see as much of it as you do now...

Added some more highlights:

One problem...when I looked really closely in a couple areas, there is some cracking:

Any ideas on what I should do? Just paint over it? I don't know what caused it...

Here is the latest:

Tomorrow I add more pink in the mouth, add the green scarring, and then hopefully onto the spots...

I am also working on my DBP1, but not as quickly:

I was going for an Elder look, but I may just go back to a normal P1...not sure yet...

looking really good.

if i can offer one positive critisism, be carefull with the black shading. if your going over it with base colour after thats fine. if not, you run the risk of the finished piece looking "airbrushed" if you know what i mean.

im no authority on painting but one thing i do when im doing shading is use blues, green or reds in very thin washes. it gives great depth but and also looks very natural.

i hope that helps, please dont think im dissing your work, just want to help

Thanks for the advice fettster. I've been trying to put a layer of thin color over the shaded areas to blend it in and make it look more natural, but I really like the darker shading as opposed to the subtle shading. Its a fine line between too much shading and not enough...especially with an airbrush! I found when I first started that I used waaaay too much black and, hence the charbroiled look, but at least I can always paint over it and start again!

thats that i love about painting, you learn somethig everytime you try

Added more pink to the mouth and then added the green. I didn't make the acid burns as light as others have, but rather I went for a darker look:

looking good jason.

I dont know what you are doing next and if your anything like me you dont follow a set procedure, but are you going to be adding some brown to the scared side? just to break up the green and make it seem like the skin pattern if still there i places that havent been as badly burnt.

EDIT: yeah painting is my favorite part of the process, very fun indeedy

awesome paint job so far its turnin out really good

i keep on thinking hes gonna gum me to death lol

DONE!

Outstanding paint up! Thanx for posting this, I am in the same boat,
just a little farther back down stream so to speak. I gotta say that I'm feeling
alot more confident about though, thanx again.
