Paintball Blade Runner Blaster with Umarex HDR 50 internals

Sorry for having been quiet for a while, but I needed some time to understand and overcome the challenges of SLA printing.

All major parts are now resin printed with exception for the main frame, the magazine and the two cylinder covers, so I should be able to start the prototype assembly soon.

I wonder if this guy is also a good candidate for an airsoft internal version. The distance from the back of the cylinder to the hammer is a bit longer than the Charter Arms bulldog, but it has the general shape overall.

Hi Mozzie,

Not sure if the G731 is a good candidate since it has a real frame where the Umarex only has a shell that looks like a revolver, but the internals look completely different, i.e. there is no grip frame or trigger guard.
Would be good to know how far you can disassemble the G731 while still being operational.

Any updates on this? After seeing this thread I bought the HDR50. cannot wait to convert it into a BR blaster!!! --Ed

Hi W1nn13

Nice work! Really love it. Do you sell the 3D plans? Cause I would really buy one! Awesome work! kind regards G.

Back from the dead...

After almost 4 years of job change, job loss and starting my own business, I finally found time to login to RPF again.

To make a long story short: I haven't been working much (or at all?) on the HDR50 Blaster, so I decided to release all my work so far for free. It's just a bunch of Fusion 360 files, so don't expect miracles, but a decent amount of time went into them, so hopefully someone will pick up the task of continueing the work.
The models are not perfectly structured into components, some parts have lost the timeline, so not every part is still fully parametric, but that's what I have.

All files including some images I used for the markings on the gun can be downloaded from my OneDrive using this link:

HDR50 Blaster

The link is active until August 31st, 2025.

EDIT: I've added the STL files I've created so far.

I won't be able to provide support, everything is "as is", but I will check the forum from time to time.

Hope anyone will find it useful.

Best,
Winnie

Thank you for reviving this thread and offering your filed. Really want to do this build.

Would it be possible to export files to STL for non fusion users?

Thanks!

I will add the STLs that I created so far to the shared folder, but the model is far from being complete.
Thanks for added those, any possibitly of converting the HDR50 full Assembly and HDR50 internals as STL's as well. Thanks again

The "HDR50 internals" is what you take from the HDR50/T4E paintball gun. The file contains a number of parts used only as a placeholder, so there's not really a point of converting those to STLs. The "HDR50 Full Assembly" is a Fusion 360 file which contains all the parts converted individually to STLs already, just assembled from components.

Understood, I was going to use it for mockup your parts and using the boolean feature for working on the grips and handle in Chitubox. Either way thank you for posting what you have already and gonna try and tear into this sometime in near future as a project.

Hi dcast,

I've extracted both the HDR 50 Internals and the Full assembly and saved them in the directory above, also the individual parts of the HDR 50 Internals. hope that helps.
