Cool! I still have that show recorded on Betamax somewhere when it first aired. I watched that tape like crazy especially the scenes with the crew handling the filming miniatures.

Don't get me wrong- it was magic to me back then!

Probably the part that had the most "impact" with me was filming Rogue 2's speeder exploding-

Seeing how they attached a model to a wire on a down angle, with charges in it--- it actually inspired me to try and recreate that shot with an MPC model with some flash paper attached to the tail- travelling down a fishing wire.

Had the whole thing set up in the kitchen- and my Mom was actually impressed (instead of JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!? :lol).

Unfortunately after several trial runs I never did get it on film.

But those were the days! Young and dreaming about filmmaking and special effects! :thumbsup
