Thank you for looking.:)

yummi-san,

As before, wonderful work! What a great ship.

Now....STOP! You're going to overdo it soon, as you feared.
You're done! Paint her, clip those fiber optics and display her with pride. With lots of pictures posted, of course. :)

Sore wa totemo sugoi, ne! :thumbsup

This is seriously one cool build, I can't wait to see her all painted up. Your dedication and attention to detail is fantastic.

Thank you very much for your timely advice and friendship. Oh! I agreed. I'm about to go too far.$
In fact I'm wondering where I should stop:confused. As you said It's time to cool down and go for paint job.

Thanks friend.
With my great respect,

katsu

Your Japanese is perfect:eek Have you been here once? Odoroki masita
(I'm surprised). I'm very convinced by your friendly comment.

Thank you again my friend,

Thank you again my friend,

Katsu,

You are too kind. I had to double check what I wrote, and good thing as I almost put Kore wa instead, and if I remember correctly, kore would be appropriate is the model was in front of me, which is (of course) isn't.

I lived in Okinawa for 3 1/2 years, from '99 - '02. One of the best times in my life and the last place that I lived that I really loved. My avatar is the Mini I had, in fact. You can just barely make out the Yankee plates. Sadly, most of my Japanese is gone from disuse, but if I think long enough I can usually remember some of the basics. Even worse, is my understanding of Hiragana and Katakana is getting bad, too. It used to be, I could read it fairly quickly, but now I struggle with a couple of the basic characters. Some day I hope to go back and take my family so that they can experience what I did.

Woow That's the pleasant surprise again. I'm really happy to know that you were there and loved the small island.

If you put 'Kore wa' instead, I think it's no problem. Me too, still sometimes confused about using a pronoun about internet things:lol:lol. This language does not seem to be assumed these situations here we faced.:rolleyes However, as you know, Japanese is something very fuzzy about that. Your Japanese tongue must be much better by far than my English:$.

I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

When someday you comeback here in Japan, I wish all the happy things return to you and your family,

katsu,

Katsu-San, that is easily the most amazing scratch-built ship I have seen yet! I look forward to following your progress and seeing your ship once it is completed... Ichiban!

Then I've started the paint job and it's been done for the upper part.

The base coat.
Little dark gray.

SA350886.jpg

Then the 1st taping for small access panels and bulkhead lines.

After the 2nd coat of light pearl gray I did the 2nd taping.
It's for the large panel line of the hull shell.

And the last coat of light gray.

And peeled all the tapes and clipped the fiber optic tips.

No sweat, I haven't bashed the Millenium falcon for her.:lol
That's just deserted there for a year.:$

I'm going to go bottom side next weekend.
And then a little touch up and little weathering will be followed.
Thanks for the looking and I'm so happy if I could hear your straight comment or impression.

Thank you very much. I'm proud of having many nice friends here:)
Great work. Can't wait to see her painted.
Thank you krusinclone-san, It will be finished momentarily.
Now I'm thinking about how I put the appropriate weathering on her.

You have me wanting to join whatever Space Navy this ship has in its service. ;)

Treadwell-san
Because I've been trying to build this mode near futuristic and realistic,
your comment is good enough to make me hop around.:lol
And also, thanks for that great advice. That was A good push for me
to step ahead. Thank you very much for your friendship.:)
