Tempest 2

It is almost 50 °C! Unbelievable!
How about the humidity? Japan's summer is very humid, which causes us to feel dull. I suppose that Arizona is very dry. How is your beautiful family? Please take care anyway.
What’s AZ like. Like baking cookies and deciding to crawl into the oven to check on them.

The family is fine thank you. Send my love to yours, Katsu-San.

120 degrees in Arizona today.

It can get 110, maybe even a little hotter here....which is just not fun at all, but normally doesn't last more than a week, maybe two at most and drops back down.....to like 100.
Definitely glad I got my car AC fixed.

I used to watch the TV show 'Breaking Bad'. Oh, I love that show. Arizona, New Mexico... I see the nature of them is beautiful and vast, but harsh at times; yet, it somehow attracts me. Also, I think the people living there.

Good to know your A/C is back on.
Yep, last year we hit 45 straight days of over 120 degrees.

Make sure that you stay indoors between 11 AM and November 1st.

But, I’ve derailed yet another thread. Sorry Katsu-San, back to the Tempest.

Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Idaho, Utah... I see the nature of them is beautiful and vast and has many splendid things, but harsh at times; yet, it somehow attracts me. Also, I think the people living there.

Sure is hard to get things done in this heat, but at least you got something, and it is looking better and better each time

As far as weather,

We are currently at 95° F or about 35° C and over 60% humidity

And it is 8:00 at night!

was in the hundreds earlier today

Also love the Arizona and Utah area.

Mainly Arizona due to the diversity
Northern Arizona in areas like Flagstaff and Oak Creek Canyon you might think you were in a forest state
It is also weird seeing snow-capped mountains in June up in Flagstaff

travel like 20-30 minutes south and your in the desert

I remember driving in late January a few years ago from the airport in Phoenix where it was 60°F/15°C and about 2.5 hours north to Flagstaff where it was below freezing and a foot of snow on the ground
