Opinions needed, Indiana Jones Mark IIIV tank

Hi guys.
I've recently started a Indy 3 tank build, I've had a hard time convincing myself of the 1/35 scale demensions I've come up with.

Here's the setup/histories . . .

Of the real WWI tanks, the Mark IV-VIII saw service, and were multiple sizes. They vary from 26 feet (Mark IV) all the way up to 36 feet (Mark VIII).

The Indy tank is a rough extrapolation (sp?) of the tank, similar to the Flying Wing design (you know, "Horten-like")

Anyway, the biggest problem, is that armed with multiple references, 1/35 figures and vehicles for reference, and actual personal experience around the filming props (Disney "escorted walking tour"), I'm coming up with a huge frickin' tank model, and am unconvinced of the scale measurements I've got, even though I've done the math over and over, and on different scale converters.

A lesser problem is that the Indy tank also has two different filming pieces; the functional tank, and the fighting/filming rig.
Both are different sizes.
THe tank is around 40-50 feet long, and about 10-12 feet tall, while the fighting rig is 30-40 feet long, and only 5 feet tall (although, it was sitting on a truck frame).

I'd love to have a gigantic tank model to display, but the hard core armour modeler in me says " It's a tank!! You CAN ONLY BUILD IN 1/35th!!"

So, if you were to build this steel beast, what would you shoot for?

Exacting scale measurements, or loose interpretation?

And the ultimate question; if you were to buy/build one for your collection, what would make you giddy more, 1/35th scale or 1/24th?

Thanks!

Think, Bart. Where have you seen Roman numerals before? I know...Rocky V! That was the fifth one. So, Rocky five plus Rocky two equals...Rocky VII! "Adrian's Revenge"!
