Officially Licensed TRON LEGACY - RINZLER, Sam & TRON Movie Replica Suits.

I understand about the limited movement. I've been wearing my Medium jacket every day to work just driving and trying to get it broken in. Which it is in some areas, it is definitely softening up but still very "armored" feeling which is due to the molded nature and is understandable.

My measurements (ie 6'3" 180lbs)

Chest size: 42"
Waist size: 36"
back length: 24"
shoulder width: 19"
sleeve length: 24"
hips: 39"
inseam: 31"
knee: 15"
ankle: 11"

So, looking at your measurements and considering mine and the fact that I can get into a Sam Flynn XS(without armor) which is very close to the Rinzler I would say you can do a XS for costuming. The XS Sam Flynn fits me skin tight but is still comfortable, the only thing that doesn't fit is the sleeve length is much too short, but I knew that going in and just wear an Underarmour long sleeve compression shirt that I tuck into my costume gloves via a thumb hole and that fills in the gap between the jacket and gloves where I would otherwise be showing bare wrist.

As for getting off the pants, even with the Large size I have I found it difficult when wearing it against bare skin. Once I put on some compression tights they are much easier to put on and remove but still stiff since I haven't worn them other than trying them on twice.

The boots fit me like they were custom molded to my feet, they fit so well!

The boots are pretty comfortable, but I cannot wear them when riding. The sole is too thick. Combined with the limited range of motion in the knees from the suit (even with the armor removed), I cannot lift my feet up high enough to get them on the footpegs.

I can do it with my normal riding boots (Alpinestars SMX5), but it is still a bit uncomfortable. It makes me nervous riding around in the suit.

I also typically wear a compression layer underneath. I have a nice pair from Canada that has a high content of Coolmax in it.

I'm thinking a smaller size might help more, due to the molded sections being smaller. The large molded section in the pants goes all the way from my hip down to digging in the back of my knee when I sit.

If you are considering a small, maybe I can make you a deal on a used pair? ;)

That Sir, is a good possibility. But I don't know if the little bit of reflective material close to the shin is on the boot or is it on the pant. The pics on the UD site would suggest its on the pants, but on your pics it looks to be on the boot? Since I have the "White" TRON version, any of the red reflective material wouldn't work that well. haha

It's on the boot. No reflective material on the pants

Well that is good news!

PM me the price you want for them and we will go from there. :D

It should be easier for you to sell off piece by piece I would think than trying to sell the suit as a whole anyway.

Just got the TRON (Rinzler) pants from sfischer (thanks bud) and they fit me perfectly. The molded leather on the sides of the thigh is thick and kinda stiff but I'll be doing my best to break them in a bit more. Regardless they are quite comfortable and will be ordering my Sam Flynn pants again in Small, as well.

David, wanna send me some cards or promo material to hand out at New Orleans Comic Con coming at the end of this month? ;) You know I represent your products well!! :cool

Should see how they were new! I put on the full suit when it came in, and almost had to call someone to get me out. :lol

hahah..I can only imagine the feeling, probably like Ralphie's little brother in "A Christmas Story" when he got knocked down and couldn't get up cause of all the winter gear. ahahhaha

So I was able to enjoy the Wizard World Comic Con in New Orleans this past weekend and spread some UD Replicas love around at the con.

What I did was bring 3 TRON: Legacy toys (One Man Light Jet) with me to the Con to give out to kids as they asked to take pics with me. So as I took a picture with the kid I asked them if TRON was their favorite movie of which they of course said, "YES!" I would then reach into my messenger bag and pull out one of the Light Jet toys and hand it to them. The look of awe and joy on the kids' faces was priceless. As well, as the appreciation of the parents. Not only me taking the time to take a photo with the kids but also making them feel really special by giving them something that they loved. It brought smiles all around. I wish I would of had more of them to give out and I wish I had taken pics with each of the kids I gave them out to. Here is a pic of the little Tron Fan who recieved one of the two I gave out on Sunday at the Con

I had a great time and later on in the day after I had changed out of the TRON suit, I actually ran into the same kid and his dad in the food court and the Dad, once again, expressed his appreciation for what I did in making it special for his son.

Waiting patiently for my XS suit to come in. I need to refinish my helmet as well. Hopefully I can find some spare time this winter
