Im excited to get my Flynn jacket, i keep staring at my bike and really want to wear it out riding. all of your Rinzler jackets look awesome BTW, with the whole suit it comes to life!

For it is one KOOL looking jacket indeed, no doubt about that...
Im just "waiting" to place-in my order sometime this coming weekend.
That is once i get ahold of david, so i can ask him a # of my consurns i have of course.

But another factor im "waiting on" as well...
Is doing a total TRON overhaul on my bike, by "adding lights" to the rims!

Simply because its "new" tech & reality unknown in the biker community...

But trust me, give it 5yrs...you'll be seeing "lightcycles" everywhere! lol

Which brings me to a cross road...
since we ALL know, each "color" in the TRON world has meaning behind it...
leaving me in a GREAT debate with myself, to which to install...

Because if i get the Sam Flynn suit...
the logical solution would be to install "white leds" to signal im a User!
but then again, "blue leds" do look KOOLER and show up better during the day & nite...

I tried to look them up to see more specifics on how they worked. I couldn't find any place still selling them. Both videos mention being the old model, and the new one wasn't as good. Couldn't find either for sale.

First off, the reason u cant "find" the specfics of HOW they work...
That is because they call THIER system a...Power Puc!
When in reality, the correct "engineering term" for them, comes in MANY forms.
{rotary electrical interfaces, rotating electrical connectors, collectors, swivels, or electrical rotary joints}
But if u wish to use the BASIC term...its called a Slipring.

As for the "power puc" itself...
The two systems that were created/manufactured...
1- the earlier ones they used a "through hole" slip ring
2- the newer ones they use a "pancake" slip ring & brush system
Yes, there is MAJOR difference between them

i would, if i could...but im still on the "45day newbie trial" period,
for orginaly my ONLY reason for joining, was to "ask David a # of ?s" on the thead.
Before i placed-in my order "im just waiting on the answers" to my ?s.

In that case, since YOU missed out on my questions...
i'll recap a few i posted within this past month spand,
...and see if i can get "your opinion" on them ;)

First off, the "size factors" in the fit...
im 35" chest (36" with deep breath) / 31" bottom / 23" sleeeves / 18.5" sholders / 24" back
now by the "chart size" i can fit into a XXS...the ? is how "tight" is it?
because i KNOW the pading & leather stiffness, all comes into play here...
like how tight is the collor, or is there ANY issues while in a riding postion?

Then i have a # of "safety" concerns...
relating to the 4way spandax sections.
...like what sort of TESTING has the suit gone through?
and what is the "friction restance" behind the materal?

Not to meantion...
what sort of warrenty do i have on the jacket/suit?
if i have ANY issues, what is the proceed in exchanging?
 
In regards to sizing, CALL UD! The Flynn suit runs a tight make sure you talk to them before ordering.

And for the other two I don't have answers, again its best to give them a ring :)

now try imagining...sliding at 70mph in it, after a car cuts ya off!

I don't have my measurements in front of me but the jacket and pants I ordered were both medium, large gloves and a "9" boot. It fits like a second skin more than an outfit. I have no mobility issues with it.

As far as safety concerns being a past rider I would feel safe conisdering the thickness and positioning of the armor. However I no longer ride, your question would be best suited poised to someone else.

Again, I have not had a chance to complete the discussion with UD so am unable to answer your final question at this time.

wouldn't you know that right after I had made that post about the belt buckle I went and searched for it and came across both of those. haha Great minds and all...

In my head I see what I want and its the four squares that form the "T" for Tron on his chest. I just want that on a belt buckle. Hmmm, maybe find a blank and make it myself I guess.
