Called, Talked, and now I have 100% certainty what size to get! Thanks David!!! Now to play the waiting game. It's going to be difficult k knowing the jacket will come 3Q. Hey My B day is 8/24. Lets see If I could have a surprise on my B day.......?

It finally hit me where I have seen the "new" Man of Steel superman shield (I knew I had seen it before, way back in the day). It's almost exactly the same one DC Comics used for the "Earth 2" (an alternate dimension of the normal one represented in the comics) version of Superman.

Anywho, cool stuff. Can I have a jacket for free?

The MoS Suit will be every bit as legendary as the film will be!

Originally, I was skeptical about the new movie but now that I've seen the newer trailers...can't wait!!

Here's a look at the chain mail detail. Sorry for the blurry pic...these are really tiny raised shapes and really hard to photograph, but I hope this paints a good picture of what's to come.



And the wrist armor at the end of the sleeve.

Actually we're doing SDCC first and yes the whole suit will be ready by then, and of course for Dragon Con afterwards.

These Prototypes of the Jacket are Awesome David,,,,,,, where are you going to place the zip to open the jacet will it run over the S emblem or straight across it like the red superman jacket,, and will the S be more bigger like the MAN OF STEEL costume,,,, going crazy about the design it awesome,,,, wish you all the best and a lot of success,,,)

Yes, the S chest logo will be bigger. That size logo is going to be for XXS and XS jackets...the jacket pictured is a Large size and the logo is too small for it so yes...it'll have a bigger one. All sizes will have the right size logo accordingly. :thumbsup

The zipper will go under the chest logo and the logo will fold over it...like our TDKRises Batman jacket.

And here's a look at the boots we just started...



Pants are coming too...working on those as well.

Lots more to come...including an all black version of this with Zod's logo on the chest.

Thanks bud. To me, the textures were the most important part of this build.

Here's a few more...

This first one is the full jacket on a hanger. What makes this one special is that it means the assembly of the jacket is done.
Some tweaking is still needed, and a larger chest logo, but even as is it's a pretty stunning prototype. :love



A good but dark close up...:cool


A lot of customers asked for a removable collar on this one.
You spoke...

Oh I cannot wait to see the back! Are you doing something different or keeping with the costumes aesthetic?

The front is looking so awesome. The textures really make it! Out of a the few things about the MOS costume I did not like, the texture was not amoung them. Especially after how its being used as a sort of under armour. Cool idea and I think you have it nailed!

Man of Steel: Superman Leather Biker Jacket.
Prototype - Pending Licensor approval.
Temporary Chest Logo. Final will be larger in overall shape.
MOS: Superman - Leather Pants and Boots in progress.





This the prototype jacket. We're already tweaking the color a bit and making a larger chest logo for the final pre-production jacket.

Hands down the most complex garment we've ever done.

We're already working on a Zod version of this same suit...we'll see if and how we handle the outer 'costume' body armor. :angel
