Update for my purchase from owfactory dot net... after two weeks of sweating since the payment was received and confirmed, I got my tracking number last Wednesday, but the tracking had not updated (i.e. it was showing as not picked up) until this morning when I finally got notification that it was picked up with a projected delivery date of 8/10/20.

Will keep you all posted once I get them and inspect them... hoping they don’t bait and switch from the QC videos they provided which looked good! [emoji1694]

Alright guys.... I DIDN’T GET SCAMMED! :-D

Received the shoes this afternoon (one day early, GO DHL!) and the box and everything inside was in pristine condition and didn’t have any damage in transit besides a some slight depressing on the corners which is inevitable considering they came all the way from Hong Kong.

The shoes came with the usual miniature license plate, poster with paper strip/seal that reads “IT’S ABOUT TIME,” and obviously the charging cable (US plug) with two cables/plugs so you can charge both shoes at the same time.

My only gripes so far are with the left shoe which has a tiny indentation on the fabric near the front on the left side but its barely noticeable until you’re holding the shoe very close to your face (you can tell in the pictures I’ve attached). The left shoe also has a very finicky LED power button which has to be pressed in a very specific way for the lights to turn on. Aside from these fairly minor details both shoes look great and don’t have any glue showing or major flaws that I can find. They look amazing in person and all the lights are very bright and so far appear to be functioning as intended. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with them.

Leaving the lights on now to see how long the batteries last (and to make sure they aren’t defective). Will take some on-feet photos soon and post them here for you all, but for now I’ve attached high-res photos of each shoe with flash (no filters).

Now to work on my BTTF shrine.... can’t wait to have all my props on display and these shoes right below my markpoon jacket!!! [emoji2956]

Its still unreal to me that a year ago I hadn’t even heard about TheRPF so thank you for making this kind of community a possibility.

I'm curious about something, I really haven't fallowed Mags since Nike sold the first 1500 back in 2011... But are these one of those pairs that were auctioned back then? (If not, I didn't realize people were replicating the poster/plate/box so well...)

No, these are the newest replicas, nicknamed the V3.1's (version 3.1) These are 99% identical to the 2011 real mags.

Wow, impressive stuff... I knew the shoes themselves had been redone, but I didn't know all the box inserts were so well replicated.
Since I've sold my original 2011 shoes, maybe I'll grab a pair of these and not feel too bad about actually wearing them..

Yeah, as soon as these came out a few years ago, I sold my 2011's and bought several pairs of these.

Looks great! Quick question. The LED lights the green red and yellow, is it suppose to be like that? Are the 2016 and 2011 ones looking the same in that are? I noticed on StockX the 2016 ones are more clear.

The bubble has more of a frosted look on the replicas. People on the forum have in the past have put clear nail polish to get rid of the cloudiness, which does work. Like this Color Riche Oil Nail Polish - Crystal 13.5ml (110)

To defrost the V3 bubble? Yes that will work. It may help to frost the bubbles on other variations MAGs. So what should be the official way (or most used) way to make the Bubble look frosted

The bubble has more of a frosted look on the replicas. People on the forum have in the past have put clear nail polish to get rid of the cloudiness, which does work. Like this Color Riche Oil Nail Polish - Crystal 13.5ml (110)

thank you! I also have a quick question. I found these. $1k with self lacing. They look good to me my only concern is the box looks like the 2016 versions And not the 2011 but if you scroll down the tag in the shoe shows 2010 date for production. If you have any knowledge on that I’d appreciate it! Just attach the link below I had to separate it.

Over the next couple of days, i'm going to be opening up my V4's and installing a new, stronger gearbox so the laces don't end up breaking, along with some additional measures to stop the laces from fully coming out. I will document and post the results once I've got everything sorted. Wish me luck

On a separate note, does anyone know how to get creases out of the tongue?
