There is another Hyperadapt coming soon (hyperdunk) at a lesser pricepoint then the original v1 trainers so maybe people will start swapping the mechanicals over.
I have a free hyperadapt that i occasionally wear but didnt want to disect them.
Also after wearing my mcfly stuff for the past three halloweens , im tired of my wife giving me grief i think im just gonna let the whole bundle go.
They still charge and light up great after THREE YEARS! and hopefully will go to a good home!
My buddy at New Era sent me the McFly sample hat to go with the shoes when i first got them , everyone loves the costume but time we start doing family ones ( and they dont love bttf like me)
Had hoped to get a v3 self lacing for a display in the house but maybe one day down the line

Not to get too far off topic, but what was the story with the New Era hats? Either I forgot they existed or never heard about em.
Now to get back on topic, I'm happy to report that my V3s are still holding a charge after 2 years. I've yet to wear them though.

They made them years ago for europe only and was a handful of them.
the one i have is a sample.
then for a us boutique they released bttf inspired hats in two colorways 1 was hoverboard and other was mag splatter
i think 20 units of each one. Legal pulled th hoverboard one and they were only able to sell thr mag one
i have both in storage
The mcfly one is super hard but its pretty accurate colorwise, i’ll snap a pic this week

I am actually excited for the HA-V2 being a hi-top. The hyperdunk has a pretty good siloutte, so a power laced version is even better.
I'm sure we all would love to mod MAGs with these new motor mechs, but when you add up the price plus factor in the risk of a fail, and I think you are just better off buying V4 MAGs.
Speaking of modding Hyperdunks, over this weekend, I combined a pair of Hyperdunks with the lacing mech from a pair of Puma Discs and the results (whilst a bit rough in the prototype stage) are actually very cool.
The ability to tighten or loosen the shoe on the fly is actually one of the best things I have experienced in a shoe.
Not a bad result for $140.

Where can I find the best Air Mags just for costume. I need a size 11 and I want V3s I cant seem to find a website, I dont even care if they're broken!

Email them and barter with them. Bartering is a part of Chinese culture, so they won't get offended if you go in low. They just come back with a counter offer. Keep going back and forth until you get the price you are happy with.
Part of why they put the price up from $499 to $709 is to cover a replacement pair. From what I could get from them, it is some sort of an insurance. I questioned them as to why should I pay for the replacement pair before I even request them? They then agreed to sell me a pair for $499USD.

I asked them multiple times after I buyed my broken pair.
They reject to sell me another broken pair...
Maybe they sell only one broken pair per person. So you still can try it...
