I'd just like to add that your tutorial was very thorough and helped me greatly in making my own paracord whips. The first one I made was based on an Australian four-strand cow whip which is designed for tapered leather and didn't work so well for paracord.
However your design taught me everything I needed to know to make a really good second whip, though I must admit I had to change it to a 10-strand overlay instead of an 8 then 12 to save money on the cord. But I had a nice 16 strand checkboard handle and it cracks beautifully.
