In March I'll be giving birth (David likes to say we'll be but trust me, it's all me...) to 2 identical baby girls, and we really wanted to have something special to look back on with regards to the pregnancy...so David turned me into a Display Prop:lol
Great detail down to the finger prints and skin pores. Oh and BTW, in case you were wondering those are both my hands .:angel
I was standing up, leaning against a wall for support and the whole moldmaking process took about 25 min. Not too bad but any longer would have been difficult for sure.
Molded from Algia Safe, Smooth-On's FANTASTIC Alginate..And the casting is Ultracal 30...but still needs to have the burr lap torched off of the edges, then the whole thing will get painted in some form.
Maybe a marble finish??...maybe a simple flat color??...I'm still not sure..but he'll 'probably' finish it next Saturday night. :lol
