Hi, You probably remember some of the toys I brought to the old SJ prop parties.

If the hosts have questions, I can provide my police ID and star, my firearms instructor cred, plus I am a federally licensed firearms dealer. No live ammo, firearms will be flex tied and always under the eye of myself or another LEO.

I do in fact remember your past firearms displays. I have spoken to our host and he is agreeable to your request. This is open to LEO ONLY. And, let's please leave the Class 3 and DDs at home.

Man, I would love to come to this and meet some folks in person and see what people had, both in their own collections and for sale. Sadly, it's the same day as a wedding. Though, I actually have zero details about the wedding, and knowing the couple, it may be a night time wedding. If that's the case, I may still be able to make the trek from San Jose earlier in the day.

Thanks for bringing this up. The hall rental agreement has a food and beverage policy attached to it. And while I do not have the full details at my fingertips, here is a high level overview:

1. Food may be brought-in from the outside. There will be limited food available at the Club. Menu and pricing TBD shortly (expect hot dogs, burgers, chips, etc); opcorn

2. Beverages must be purchaed at the Club (no outside beverages may be brought-in). Types and pricing TBD shortly. There may also be a full bar. :cheers

As more details become available, they will be posted here. Expect a FULL update by early October.

Only now seeing this now after missing the PM. I'll have to check my calendar but will try and make it.

My I suggest you post in the last prop party thread to catch some interest? It was going to be hosted at Don Bies' shop but got cancelled at the last minute. He was going to tru and get some ILM alumni out, as seeing this is in the same neck of the woods it's worth pinginh him.

hmnn..I'll be in SF that day but doing a photoshoot with the Joes at the NIke missile site...in GG park I could drop Ed off and go to my shoot and then pick him up..will Kyle (8 he's good and won't touch stuff) be able to go to the prop gathering? I know he is not allowed at the missile site.

Could there be others that might like to attend, but have not seen this thread? I would not have known about this thread either if I didn't get a pm. Could this be posted to the main forum for greater visability? I don't think this section gets the attention needed.



The club supplies drinks? does that include beer? Are we allowing drinking at this party? Previous parties have been alcohol-less, due to liabilities.

On the subject of food: I volunteer to bring a sandwich tray (probably from Costco)
