I got to double check the dates, but I imagine that Abby and I can make it. I didn't read the whole thread here, how many can the place hold? Are there tables/chairs? Can we invite others? I know some folks who would be interested

The hall is farily large. Tables and chairs will be provided. We want to keep this to RPF and Trek Prop Zone members only. However, family and interested friends may be invited along as guests.

Looks like we have a bit of a conflict with the current date, Nov. 9. It is the same weekend as the San Francisco Creation Convention, so we are now looking at an alternate date in November.
That way anyone who already had plans to go to the con can still make it to the party.
Either myself or Docholl will update the thread with the new date as soon as we have it locked down.

In past prop parties, my group (all cops) brought prop connected real firearms, always under close supervision. When Stargate SG1 was popular, we brought real, full auto P90 so folks could compare to the airsofts, props, etc. I think I also brought live fire screen used Berettas in shrouds from Judge Dredd and Time Cop.
Just wanted to ask what the policy would be on live (unloaded and flex tie disabled) firearm based props.

I was more thinking of items just for the sake of curio - - haha - - I have some goofy stuff and figured some people might like to check it out
It's a prop and costume party/swap meet/show and tell/???

My mix of replicas and screen-used stuff at the SoCal meet was well-received so was planning the same for this meet.
