No REMAKES!

Not to insult anyone, but I thought the Dune movie with McLachlan sucked even more than the TV remake. None of them can even begin to do the book justice.

I agree, the books were better. Isn't that typically how it goes? The books are almost always better.

And maybe that's the answer. Have no movie remakes, just write more books.

Some remakes make sense.......others are just a cash cow for producers who dont want to take any real risks
king kong worked because the original was soooo old that young people would not fully appreciate the story....because the fx suck big time...
Batman is another good example......IMHO Batman begins and the Dark knight were MUCH better than any Batman film done before.
