here's some of the hands.

This is simply the best fan-made Ninja Turtle suit I have ever seen. Huge appreciation for posting the info and pics... I am very grateful! I can't say enough how great this is and to see that it was done in such a non-traditional casting/molding way is just awesome! WOW! Any chance you have more pics or info on how the torso/chest/arms were made and how the shell is supported/attached? Stunning and mind-blowing!

Wow, I just saw this for the first time. As a huge Turtles fan, you did an outstanding job.

Cowabunga, indeed.

Very impressive work! I work with foam all the time and I've done exactly what you did, but man does it look so much better. I actually had to rebuild a turtle head from one of the stunt suits of the second movie? They just came to me for a music video and needed it that afternoon. I wish I had you around, you would have shown me a thing or two on that mess.:lol Do you pattern, or free form? it looks like you free form, I was actually taught how to pattern muscles from one of the good friends of the Chido bros, who did some of the actual suits. Man I need to do more organic work, it looks fun. I was actually going to do an Alien suit this way, just got scared by the weight of the latex, I brushed 4 layers on and it weighed a ton on my test hand.:cryHow many layers did you use on this suit. Oh and, you know you can use L-200 to base out shapes first, then cover them in the upholstery foam for detail, it helps on large things like the shell, instead of having to build up layer after layer. lighter too.:lol Again great work, I can't wait to see what you're doing next.

I have good i deas but have never worked with any foam stuff before. if any one has an idea how to attach a shell please let me know

manic that Raphael head look totally rad dude all these turtle suit do and these turtle thread's in support for you all can say "cowabunga"

please can you tell me will you be releasing any templates/pattern ?

hey guys, thanks for the feedback, I've thankfully been busy since I made Leo but now have the time to revisit the TMNT. I've recently moved into a new workshop and have developed my technique while making these guys,

There seems to be enough interest in the turtles for me to make a few more, this time I'll keep one for myself. I'll also keep track of what it costs and how long I spend making each one, maybe even making patterns. Keep an eye on this thread and I will update it with my progress, I have a few new tricks that will make this costume even better. This will be a good chance to ask questions that I haven't already answered or give me advice from your own experiences. cheers:angel
